For a rider, Biligiri Ranga Hills (BR Hills) isn't just a destination—it’s one of the most rewarding weekend morning breakfast rides out of Bengaluru. The journey transitions from fast, wide cruising lanes into rustic, tree-lined state highways, culminating in a 25 km twisty forest ghat that climbs up to 5,000 feet. Because motorcycles are restricted from entering the nearby Bandipur and Nagarhole core forest routes, the climb up to the Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Temple is one of the few places in the region where you can experience a pure, deep-jungle ghat tarmac ride.
